Memorial Day Weekend

The saturday of memorial day weekend, me, my gf, and a friend went out to jones beach for their annual air show. The day was quite hazzy and taking great shots was almost impossible. But these are two of the best shots i had from the show that i liked:

Rocker Shoot with Sarah

Had another shoot the same day i shot with Geralin. This time with Sarah. She has never done this before and she was a bit nervous at first, but then she loosened up. Me and another photographer, Andrew, both did the shoot at the same time. Used the same strobes, and almost the same angles. My flashes have never had a work out like they did that day. Here are two of the shots from that shoot:

Beach shoot with Danielle

So today i had a shoot down at the beach with Danielle and her friend.  Had a great time as usual.  It was 5pm and the sun was still very much out so i tried to make the best of it.  I used one strobe for the shoot, nikon sb-24 triggered by cactus v4.  I also had a reflector used to block the sun in a couple of shots.  Heres one of the photos i loved from todays shoot.  If you want to see more, go to my facebook fan page:

First post

Well this is officially my first post on my blog.

i guess ill start off by letting you know what happened over the weekend.

This past weekend i had a photo shoot with a client who wanted to do a photo shoot on a car.  I had no idea what kind of vehicle this was going to be.  Me and my two friends pull up to the house where we had to meet up, and there was a #2 pencil color, Ford GT-40.  I was hoping that this would be the car i was going to take pictures of, and once the client had met up with us, it was confirmed!

We went down to the docks by the meeting spot we had.  Of course since a female was posing on the car, we had a crowd, but this crowd was different from any other crowd/creepers that i've had in the past, they were mainly little children who were playing outside and wanted to know what was going on.  We still had our occasional creeper though.

All in all it was a great shoot and i look forward to shooting with the female again shortly!

So heres a shot of the Ford GT-40:
